In Spring 2010,Gunnebo’s partner, Kerberos Security (Kerberos Co. Ltd.), had installed the first Bullet & Explosion Resistant Door and Window for French Embassy in Laos. The pioneer green field project (no local company set up such security installation before) established the highly secured pedestrian and vehicle checkpoint of the Embassy – including design, architecture, construction, engineering and security equipments etc.
Gunnebo Singapore together with its local partner, Kerberos Security, had been won the project to supply the first Bullet Resistant Door and Window for French Embassy in Laos.
”It took us half a year from the start of the discussion to get the right product specification which meet with strict security requirement and to finally being confirmed and approved by the French Embassy. I am glad that we have a strong partner in the area to push it through and good support from Jean Daniel Gross of Baldenheim to put the proposal together under a tight deadline”, says Jeffrey Hermawan, Business Line Manager .
“This is another milestone after the first successful penetration of Chubbsafes products in 2008 in the area, and now we are moving forward steadily with the other Gunnebo product to expand further”, says Elsie Tay, Country Manager.
“We do work strongly on marketing and sales channels to convince local and international companies and organisations to invest in high quality certified equipments instead of going for low end products. Kerberos Security already started to work on further physical security projects with the Embassy like the redesign nd set up of the consulate building and secured vehicle pass”, says Mr. Dom, director of Kerberos.
